Statement by the Revolutionary Socialists

In light of the relentless security crackdown being carried out by the regime against the youth of political parties, movements, and independents, in clear violation of the constitution and the law, and in the face of the unjust economic decisions that the regime has implemented—and intends to continue—which have caused rising prices, subsidy cuts, a decline in the standard of living, and increased pressure on the middle class and people experiencing poverty, burdening them with the largest share of the economic fallout, in addition to the regime’s insistence on relinquishing the islands of Tiran and Sanafir in defiance of a final and binding court ruling and against the popular will that has expressed its rejection of this concession through a two-year-long struggle.

We reaffirm our solidarity with all detainees who are paying the price for their struggle in the prisons of shame.

The undersigned parties declare that they are in constant communication and coordination to confront the closure of the public space and the targeting of youth by taking all available peaceful measures.
The signatories have preliminarily agreed on the following:

1. The signing parties and entities commit to treating all detainees, whether affiliated with a party or independent as if they were members of their own organizations and pledge to defend them by all available means.
2. It coordinates public action between the signing parties and entities while inviting other political movements to join in a unified front that acknowledges the importance of the current moment.
3. The signing parties and entities commit to opening their offices to one another and raising their preparedness level for any new developments.
