All Support to the Palestinian Resistance: Down with the Deal of the Century

Last night, we followed the press conference in which Trump and Netanyahu announced the White House’s plan to force peace in our region at the expense of the occupied Palestinian people. The announcement was made in the absence of any representation of the Palestinian people and in the presence of the foreign ministers of Oman, the UAE, and Bahrain, followed by several supportive statements from the foreign ministries of Arab dictatorships, the most disgraceful of which was the statement from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

Trump and Netanyahu are trying to evade their impending removal from office by leaping forward, and their means for doing so is this cursed deal that liquidates the Palestinian cause, abolishes the right of return, and concerns itself only with the security of the Israeli occupation and its settlements while normalizing relations with neighboring countries.

We are not deceived by the denunciations and condemnations the Palestinian Authority echoes, recognizing the emptiness of their rhetoric against the deal. We know that Abu Mazen and his authority are protesting their exclusion from the negotiations about the deal, not the exclusion of the Palestinian people. The history of the Palestinian Authority is filled with deals with the occupation. We reject the deal and are confident that the struggle of the Palestinian people and their resistance factions will render it null and void. We call on all supporters of the Palestinian cause worldwide to confront the occupation and its allies’ efforts to liquidate the cause.
